Job Description for Associate Pastor
Primary responsibilities would include:
1. Oversee the assimilation process. Taking people from first time visitor to regular attender, and then involved member.
2. Oversee our small group ministry. This includes recruiting leaders, approving curriculum, and coordinating schedules. it also involves connecting people into appropriate groups.
3. Facilitating the contemporary praise and worship music on Sunday morning. Working with volunteer worship teams (both vocal and instrumental)to plan and lead worship. Some musical ability is required.
we are looking for someone who can do many things well but may not be a master of any one thing.
Preaching is not a primary responsibility.
A Bible college degree is required.
