Job Description for Children's Pastor
“The Rock” is a growing church with a church planting dream that presently has an average attendance of over 700 passionate people. Our purpose statement is: “Reaching out to, Raising to maturity, Releasing for ministry a community for Christ in a contemporary, authentic, and supernatural way.”
Rock Community Church is looking for a passionate associate children’s pastor who love on kids and put kids first. The Rock is an outreach oriented church that focuses on Reaching, Raising & Releasing people to serve. We are an Assembly of God affiliated church that ministers to 750 people a week with a children’s ministry that runs a 100 – 125 kids a week. The candidate will ideally need to be Multi-Media savvy, be able to preach to the congregation 3 - 4 Sundays a year, be able to oversee a children’s volunteer staff of 60 people.
