Job Description for Next Steps Pastor
New Hope Community Church in Bryan, Ohio is searching for a “Next-Steps Pastor” who possesses a passion and calling for helping people take their next step toward Christ . The person selected for this position will have primary responsibilities in areas related to: (1) helping guide people towards their next step in areas related to discovering Jesus, baptism, partnership, volunteering, groups, and care; (2) developing and maintaining a comprehensive system of providing congregational care; (3) oversight and development of group-related ministries; (4) life events; and (5) strategic service.
The ability to teach on occasion as part of weekend services will also be among the abilities we desire to see evidenced by the person selected for this position.
