Job Description for Musician
Temple of Prayer and Truth is currently is seeking a fulltime Musician to play keyboard during our services and rehearsals. The church is small but growing. We are looking for someone to lead worship for our Sunday Worship Service at 11:00 a.m. and one evening during the week for band rehearsal. .
Candidates must demonstrate that they are trained in traditional gospel music but stay current with modern worship and musical styles. They must promote a comprehensive program of blended and contemporary worship and lead in both venues. Candidates must demonstrate that they can lead in developing worship for all ages with the ability to play by ear or read music. They must demonstrate the personality traits of leadership, high energy, contagious enthusiasm, vision, versatility, and teamwork. Christian maturity, music ability, and band experience are a must. The right person must be born again and have integrity, high moral values and must be able to express a genuine call to serve God by serving others. He must have a high level of motivation and accountability and model his life after Biblical principals. Thanks for your interest!
