Job Description for Bi-Vocational Pastor
Concord Community Church is the only church located in Concord VT. We are currently working through a transition period with an intentional interim Pastor. We desire a Bi-Vocational pastor with at least 2 years experience and meeting the requirements in 1 Timothy 3, and Titus 1. Our goal is to reach our community with the Gospel, and build up believers. The Lead Pastor at CCC will be a biblically qualified elder who works in concert with leadership to fulfill the mission of the church.
His primary responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• The preaching and teaching ministry of the church.
• The oversight of weekly worship services.
• The oversight of volunteer staff.
• The oversight of the MINISTRY PLAN for an upcoming year.
• The steady casting of VISION for the churches ongoing ministry.
• The training and equipping of leaders for ministry.
• General pastoral duties; weddings, funerals, hospital visits, etc
