Job Description for Womans Leader

Eligibility to Apply:
• Must be a Christian for at least 7 years with a clear salvation and Pentecostal experience
• Must be walking in the fruit of the Spirit in all walks of life
• Must model womanhood in attitude, beliefs, and in modest clothing attire and willing to practice the principle of head coverings
• Must be physically able to do effective relational ministry within the Ajax/Pickering Community
• Must possess a pioneer spirit, committed to the growth and welfare of C.F.M. and abide by C.F.M. standards
• Priority will be given to residents of the Ajax, Pickering Community

Description:
Christ’s Forgiveness Ministries is a Home Church Ministry within the global body of Christ. Our ministry emphasizes the transmittance of the gospel focusing the power of forgiveness, radical Spirit filled living, discipleship, one-to-one mentoring, and missionary work. This position is to provide our ministry with solid female leadership for women and model and encourage pride and adherence to the Biblical ideal of womanhood.

GOALS AND OBJECTIVES:
• The leader will conduct outreach towards women, evangelize and assist the church in meeting the spiritual, emotional, and intellectual needs of women in their various stages of life and cultural diversity.
• The leader will lead women in the principles of womanhood and the Christian faith according to the Bible in agreement with C.F.M.
• The leader is to create an environment that encourages productivity, rewards effort and initiative, and provides a spiritual climate in which each woman can experience growth.
• The leader will bring members to Christ’s Forgiveness Ministries through their work.
• The leader assesses the needs of the women in the church through surveys and interviews. She forms and acts as chairperson for a Women's Ministries committee (at minimum every quarter) to develop programs and activities to meet the needs identified through the surveys.
• The leader will practice and adhere to Church’s understanding of scriptures relating to women and women’s issues and teach and ensure that principles are maintained and reinforced in the Church amongst its female members
• The leader will be/become a member, regular attender of C.F.M., will tithe to C.F.M and will encourage and support visitation and regular attendance to C.F.M. towards others
 The leader creates reports and goals on/for each woman in the ministry and shares all information with the Pastor disseminating information on women's activities and harmonizing these activities with the larger church program.
• She works closely with the Pastor in strategizing and counselling women in the ministry.
• The church board selects the Women's Ministries leader in the local church.
 Be involved in weekly leadership meetings
 Be apart of the Churches Evening Evangelism Outreach team once a week
QUALIFICATIONS:
• The leader will have been a Christian for at least 7 years with a clear salvation experience, has personally lead others to faith in Christ and/or is able to share the gospel, and filled with the Holy Ghost with the evidence of speaking in tongues.
 Completion of C.F.M. Bible Studies, and apart of the ongoing training through membership in weekly C.F.M. Bible Studies and Cell Groups
• The leader will be an example of a Godly woman, have a stable spiritual life and gospel-centered lifestyle as a Worshiper, family member, missionary, servant, and learner
 The leader will also be a model of womanhood in her attitude, beliefs, and in modest clothing attire and willing to practice the principle of head coverings (1 Corinthians 11) in church worship, prayer, and corporate gatherings. Any clothing that may create the impression of being flashy, excessive, sexual, or revealing is not encouraged and deemed unsuitable by the Senior Pastor.
• The leader will be a sensitive, caring nature, encouraging, and relationship oriented person with a clear spiritual understanding of God's design for women, and a burden for women's broad needs and concerns.
• The leader will possess a (Undergrad and/or Graduate) Degree in Christian Theological Studies and/or experience in women’s ministry and/or adequate ability to teach and lead women in the principles of womanhood and the Christian faith according to the Bible in agreement with C.F.M.
• The leader will be/become a member and regular attend C.F.M.,
• The leader will tithe to C.F.M
• The leader will only encourage and support visitation and regular attendance to C.F.M.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The major duties and responsibilities of the Women's Ministries leader include the following:
1. Establish a Committee. The leader will work with the Pastor to establish a committee. The committee should be composed of women interested in the broad spectrum of women's needs and concerns. The purpose of the committee is to brainstorm, develop strategies, and assist in planning programs and activities that relate to women's specific and varied needs with the goal of helping women become more like Christ and fulfill their mandate as women of God.
2. Needs Assessment. The leader will work closely with her committee to survey the needs of the women in the local church and community. Survey questionnaires can be used to obtain this information.
3. Program Development. The leader will work with her committee and the pastor to develop and implement Women's Ministries programs and/or seminars, and network with women in the Church. She and her committee may decide to begin programs as women’s outreach and evangelism, support for single parents, presentation, health care, time management, grief recovery, spiritual care (discipleship), personal devotions, self-improvement, and support for women married to non-believers, etc. Other activities may include prayer breakfasts, literacy programs, day care, and programs for the elderly etc…
4. Chairperson of the Women's Ministries Committee. It is the responsibility of the local church Women's Ministries leader to chair the Women's Ministries committee. She will encourage ideas and plans that maximize women's contribution to the mission of the church. The chair will put together an agenda, moderate discussion, and facilitate group cohesion through personal sharing, prayer, and fellowship.
5. Advocate of Women's Concerns, Needs, and Contributions. It is the leader's responsibility to keep the church membership informed of Women's Ministries and its contributions to church life. This responsibility includes allotting time during personal ministries, announcement period, or other meetings to share with the congregation at large. This responsibility includes being a liaison between the women of the church and the Pastor and Board which helps in turn keep in view the needs of the women in the church and recognizing the Women's Ministries as a significant and vital part of church growth and church dynamics.

RESOURCES
• The Women's Ministries leader will be granted finances to accommodate the purchase of approved materials, facilities, and outings.
• The Leader will be a volunteer position until the ministry grows with a quarterly review for the first 6 months followed by an end of year review.
 There will be a review for the first 6 months. Based on performance and Church growth, during annual review, finances will be reviewed

COMMITMENT
• The Women’s leader will remain committed to her duty for a minimum of a year.
• At the end of the year, both parties will decide whether or not to renew the contract.
• Will be expected to put together a personal schedule highlighting both their day and the time they will spend on ministry activities. The Leader will also hand in a formal proposition regarding the goals of the women’s ministry and how they plan to accomplish growth and success.
 Committed to weekly evangelism team, bible studies/cell group and attendance to Church on Sunday
