Job Description for Worship/Youth Pastor
Primary Duties:
Lead a worship team that consists of lead guitar, drums, key board, grand piano, bass guitar, rhythm guitar and singers.
Lead, teach and preach in ways that challenge the youth to be more Christ-like disciples.
Shepherd the Youth of the church as well as their parents.
Build relationships with students and spend time on their turf.
Cast vision and recruit others to come on board.
Ensure that volunteers are building relationships with students, too.
Train and equip volunteers to be effective in their various rolls.
Create opportunities for the youth/adults to serve in the church and the community.
Develop skills to council youth as well as parents.
Follow-up teen visitors and family.
Secondary Duties:
Preach in worship services as needed.
Assist lead pastor as needed.
